If we go here like accept an invitation and it is not it it is not uh um a blind invitation. So it's comes with a a message create by sales mine. Uh so it's not like sending connection requests but the the the results are amazing.
I mean 690 uh connect um invitation sent over the last month 436 uh acceptance. W that that's great result.
So that's 63% acceptance rate with a message an initial message. That's I mean I never seen that. I mean even for me I never seen that.
um so maybe we can start by can you can you tell your name uh your business and what you do what do you do for your clients? So my name is Manuel Ditz. Um originally from Belgium but it's been really long time I haven't been in Belgium.
Um so I own uh since I would say yeah since 2014 uh a lead generation um I will say boutique because I never wanted to to grow it. um a lead legendary boutique specializ in lean in oldri um and uh and through those years I have developed one method methodology which is called the one sentence offer where in basically four five messages uh we arrive to qualify a potential opportunity uh of someone interested and schedule a call uh with a potential customer. Yeah, that's basically what I've done on top of other companies, but basically that's what I've done.
I mean, it's really real my passion after 30 years of like B2B sales. It's still doing my passion and basically I do what nobody likes to do.
that sounds sweet. Uh but before you started using salesmind, what was the biggest challenge you faced when doing lead generation for your clients?
Um people don't realize this very much but it's super time lead generation it's super time consuming. Um we there is two way to do lead generation. one way it's blasting uh tons of messaging uh the same way the same time of message I mean same kind of message um and it works you know this uh spray and pray uh methodology can kind of work uh if you kind of smart with the messaging and and mainly if you succeed to get to get to the to to make list of the the the the right people it can work uh No, I would say 90% of the lead generator don't don't know how to set up a campaign like this.
So basically it's spamming people, spamming people. Yes.
Um so for me it was never really a problem of setting up the right campaign. Um for me uh it was super important to at one moment to arrive to save time uh on running those campaigns. Um I've been for a long long time doing that manually message after message for each of my clients.
So sometimes it was taking 10 hours a day or 11 hours a day but it was producing really good results. Um then then um very quickly I've been a little bit known in the environment of automation. So at automation tools owner asking me to test the tools before it was released.
Um so I was pushing those those automation tools to the to the limits. Uh and it was fun because yeah it was also saving times. Uh but very again it was kind of saving time but reproducing the the spray and pre uh mechanism.
And then a couple of year ago, the funny part is that I never been a huge fan of AI for a long time. Uh and couple of years ago, I mean, not couple of approximately one year, one year and a half, no uh ago, I I say it's not possible to continue like this. I mean, I'm spending too much hours.
um my creative uh mind can have some limits also. uh and yeah there is this AI stuff you know and maybe I can I can use it uh or implements my methodology uh in in some AI and I start to to have a look and then and then at one moment I say okay um it can it can work but I need to find a tool uh I need to find uh something relevant. So, I've been watching some some of the tools.
Some were really good, some were, you know, just a little bit a plus of automation tool. And then and and for me the the the the contact with with the people trying to sell the tools to me. I mean I was a convinced already because I've done I've done the research and stuff like that.
But the the the way I communicate with the people, the the way they they they reach out to me, the way they you know commercially they they explained uh uh the the tool was very important and that's how I I mean Bram contact me the way he did it uh was supernatural super and it was telling me you know part of the communication was also done by AI. " So, that's how I arrived to to you guys.
That that sound that sound good. But if we get back quickly to the to the struggle you had before before starting with sales and how did spending 10 hours per day affect affected your your business and what were you unable to offer your client because of those limitation? So there was that's an excellent question because for a long long time I didn't realize it was affecting my businesses.
Uh because when you have success for your clients or for yourself you are kind of pumped by by the the results and then because the result are there you like finding it natural you know to to work 10 hours and to bring because it's generating money you know. So, so the the question is there like at one moment uh I had a discussion with with one of the lead generator spe I mean in this environment we we know a little bit each each other or and he told me Emanuel I mean okay now you have this boutique you have a recruitment agency you have a investment company you have you know you you have a digital marketing agency you have other I mean other participation uh in in some some businesses. I mean, you are not going to work like this all your life, you know.
You need to you need to to find a way to, you know, to to have a family life, kids. I mean, all this life enjoy. I mean, I'm I'm I'm lucky to live in Dubai.
So, this is perfect environment to enjoy life also. And then little by little also I realized that the lack of time was also uh a barrier to grow my companies each of them. Uh spending time on delivering was not allowing me on spending time on growing.
Um, and that's where really like uh, yeah, I would say the AI stuff, even if I'm still not a super convinced guy, but the mainly for this environment uh, save me saved me a lot of time. Yeah. Yeah.
Um, otherwise it was like staying at one level that not not possibility possible. I mean it will not be possible to grow.
I see. I see. So that make a lot of sense that you're trying to rely on system that kind of free up a lot of time.
Th this is this is really this I mean I realized that you can be skilled you can have all the expertise at one moment you will be limited um if you're not building systems uh and building systems if you're not a technical guy or if you're not or even if you're not kind of a process guy which I am absolutely not it's almost impossible to build uh so When you find when you understand this and you know what kind of tool will help you I mean then it's I mean the tools will create some system for you already done you just need to add little stuff around that tool that will will allow you to save time and grow your business.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
That that's very true and that why we built this mind. We saw that gap and we we're we're filling it with it. But um if I understand correctly, you you found us because at some point you were in some of our campaign and and then the AI convers what what what made you decide to go for it anyway?
So uh the conversation uh the conversation I had uh you were I were in the campaign but it's not it will not be difficult to identify me as a potential customer. Um I I will say I I've been bluffed by the communication of the AI. Uh and and if I if I go back to this communication, I've been really a bad ass during that conversation because the starting was not perfect.
that sounds good and now you're now that you're using sales mind what change and what kind of result are you getting for your clients So um it's going to be a little bit counterprotective what I'm going to say. So I don't see a really increase of the result that I had already before that say it saved me tons of hours. So I have the same result and I have some campaign working much better.
Um but I have same result or much better. I don't have bad worse result. This is already a good point.
Um but similar and much better but spending much less time on it. So for me it's a winner situation.
Yes. You mentioned some of the result from from your your your your client.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
I can share.
Yeah. Let let me just have a look. Um so it's um it is in in um and just explain to you.
So basically it's a someone in Dubai uh working in a wealth management. uh wealth management it's uh it's a very complicated because you are contacting people and say hey do you want to be rich or do you want to to so creating creating um creating a a campaign uh for wealth management it's super complicated uh because you never know uh how the people will react so so in this case um I would say uh sales mine Uh it it's a killer. It's a killer because I will never get a result like this and we can see.
So if if we go here like accept an invitation and it is not it it is not uh um a blind invitation. So it's comes with a a message create by sales mind. Uh so it's not like sending connection requests but the the the results are amazing.
I mean 690 uh connect um invitation sent over the last month, 436 uh acceptance.
W that that's great result.
So that's 63% acceptance rate with a message, an initial message. That's I mean I never seen that. I mean even for me I never seen that.
and there and and we are also excellent 57 7% of response rate.
Yeah.
Um
what do you think you've done for this campaign that have that that's much of a success?
Um I think um the part of it and this is something that we were discussing just before I need to to to get better. But I think this here for example the website was s is super well done very clear uh and that helps the the AI to catch information. Uh and when he he got this information I believe that he's analyzing perfectly the the profile before sending this invitation to connect and this message.
very very
I see it's written first AI campaign so is it the real first campaign where you nailed those results
it it is the first campaign on sales mind uh on sales mind uh for for these clients yes the first campaign
that's uh that's really good so hopefully we will be able to increase those uh based on the the learning that salesmen have over Yeah, amazing. Thank you very much for for sharing that. But um now, how does it feel running your business now compared to before?
What can you do today that you couldn't do before with without s mind?
I can make some siesta. Sometimes in the afternoon I can I can you know just lay down a little bit 30 minutes and and just relax. Um it's also easy for me for example most of the of the tools it was not like um I have I'm traveling a lot so um for example when I have an uh my iPad I have an iPad Pro sometimes I just don't want to get off my computer but I have sales mind and it's giving me the same the same environment completely the same.
So for me for example this like when I'm in in the airport and something like that I don't need to take off my computer open and stuff like that I can just open my my quickly my iPad and just like handling uh very quickly for me the the more the safest time is that since mine when whenever someone reply is creating a a an answer uh and I just need to validate this answer or to change to trick a little bit the answer and and just push okay okay okay okay send send it's it's simplify a lot otherwise I mean you need to enter whenever sales any the link profile go to scroll down all the message find the perfect message think about what okay understand what the person reply and then think about like okay how can I reply perfectly like that. It's so much. And now you have those kind of uh multiple possibility to reply.
So it's easy to click click click click. Oh. Oh, this one.
This one is a good one. Oh.
That's very true. And and to to to explain you quickly the the story behind sales mind. This is exactly the first problem we aimed to solve.
We were we were seeing people spending dozen of hours not not per day but per week. We haven't met you at that time spending dozen of hours spending manual manual messages but we saw that actually the money is in the inbox the automation we were doing the thing great but at the end of the day if you don't reply those people they don't move in the funnel if they don't move they don't convert and and they also are lost so the first thing that we tried to solve was to make sure that every single lead got a reply and are directed at root in a way that could help them to convert them or get out of the sales funnel because they nothing to do inside.
Yeah. Yeah. and and something something that it's like um it's this kind of funnel problem and making move you can recognize this in any social media message box in any social med message box and I I will say um we also use sales mind not only for sales I mean we're using sales minds also on a recruitment perspective also um which help us um help us with small my co-ounder um it's help us like to reach out the right candidates on auto on auto mode like without her interaction and her interacting when it's really necessary but she's got for example call schedule automatically with the candidate you know and when you know the time you spend to find the right candidate analy ize the profile and stuff like that.
Right now for her, it's just like building the relevant list, put it in sales mine and then wait that the call are scheduled.
That's a little bit dangerous.
The the good part is that um again her list are her lists are very sharp. It's not long list. They they are targeted.
So she spend time the time she can save with says mind doing the communication she can spend time on having really accurate list. So very the people who schedule are very the kind of people she wanted to talk to and they are interested in talking about this precise position.
Yeah that's on that's on exactly what what we build salesman for.
Yeah.
And just the last question for me. So if another agency would like to to struggle with lead generation for their client, what would uh what would you tell them about sales mind?
I will I will I will have a conversation to see at what point they are because I will not recommend uh sales mind if they just spray and pray spray and pray. Um I think to use and and I had the same opinion with automation tools, you need to be ready. uh you need to be in a certain mindset to be able to use efficiently those kind of tools sales mind or any if you're not ready if you don't have enough experience if you're not having the kind of such a an expertise or background very quickly can be dangerous also because that's that's the problem for automation that I see they're going to kill tons of of leads instead of getting leads so I will I will I I will have a conversation with them.
that makes sense
all right But but I will definitely I mean only for the the the only for saving time it's it's already using uh useful bringing results. I mean the customer I show this example is like man go for it you know I don't care go for it you know go for it and uh and I have other uh I have a situation uh I work without CS mine um in 2025 uh it was March April uh May June four months with uh with and this guy was like It didn't get like immediate close, but it was very specific. It takes a little bit time to get close.
Um, so at one moment it was going to be the vacation. " Um, so he paused and then I receive a mail. I think in in December I receive a mail from him and he say, "You know what?
" um let's let's do it you know uh and I say what happened and they say one of the conversation you generate brought me a a super deal and the return on investment of your service is so low that I can I can afford to take you for one year I'm like okay let's let's I mean the return on investment is so high not low your price is so low and I can I can afford to to to sign a contract like are you sure? I say man. Yes.
And if you want if you want to implement new stuff because I know you spent a lot of time uh if you want to I say if you have a a AI solution just use it because when I see what you were able to do uh manually yeah I'm sure you can configure it perfectly for me and then yeah I still need to put it on on sales line. Yeah. I guess it must feel it must feel very very weird feeling like the guy wants to buy you for one year because you're too cheap.
" And I am I too cheap.
No, no, no. The deal he made is uh it's super good. " So, so it makes it makes feel good um because he understood it's a long process.
definitely
and and especially in B2B actually the sales cycle are very long we work with some corporate the sales cycle for them is two years so before they we start the conversation two today they and in two years they expect to close those people so that that's really huge
no the good part of sales mind I would say is that you can create very long campaign and every time like you can even create a campaign that I was thinking recently say you know there is a lot of people they it's not a good moment or they are busy or they are on something else but if you schedule like every month a little touch you know it can bring one time someone say oh yeah I have the time let's go on a call uh it's not because someone doesn't reply that he's not interested there there is tons of reason but I guarantee if you don't use a tool like this um or like sales mind um you will never follow up like this every month a little touch and an accurate touch without you thinking like okay what is new in this profile or what you know letting the AI looking at what is happening in this profile or he connect with someone or uh he posts something and then every single month having having a little touch or just visit the profile because that's also a possibility. visit the profile. Um I don't know other stuff but we can we can go really further like make a comment or put a like or you know those little touch then send a message send like it's going to be uh it's going to be New Year's maybe your your you know your campaign it's like 12 months and New Year's will come like say this month is going to be to New Year's say happy new year just simple happy new year you know a little touch it's open uh amazing uh kind of a sales process and sales funnel on the long term also not really on the short term.
Yeah.
but we have the nurturing on autopilot. So every every month or every every few weeks we nudge back the people if they don't reply. So that that's because we are seeing that the the people are lost in the funnel at some point if they don't reply and no one moved them again they're getting so this is really important and that that what bring the most of the result.
Yeah. Amazing.
Thank you very much Manuel. Love it to hear your feedback and the the success that you had with with salesmind. I will obviously share that with the with the team and will make a testimonial from that.
uh the entire team is is behind behind me for for this call and everything that we're building. So um big uh big applause and big congrats for for the team making the tool every day a little bit better. If I can also I mean I mentioned at the beginning that for me when I start conversation the relation and the feeling that people take care I mean care like not just a support or just like care about the success of the customer uh was really important and so far I have no complaint about this.
I mean I I never felt like okay you you pay your like I have with other SAS you know almost like 80% of the SAS uh you I mean with the salesmind team I I must say like I feel like listening um like you even you sometimes you are jumping on the on the conversation and I I was not I was not expecting you to jump sometimes because the time difference. It's really late for you, but you're jumping on conversation. So, so this is also some super important.
Yeah. Yeah. I I I think this is my like my childhood.
They my parents always told me don't don't treat the other the way you don't want to be treated and and I hate when you talk to a chat and it's actually terrible. you can't end it with anyone and you spend hours on on the problem that is not your fault and and and you waste your time, right? So I I hope and I expect the team to make sure that we don't waste our user time because that that just terrible that just terrible.
So we need to have the product that is good but also the support and the human relation that are actually making the thing very unified.
It's perfect. I mean all good for me. So let's continue.
Let's uh let's put more customer on sales.
Let's scale.
get let's scale. Super. Thank you very much, Julia.
Thank you very much. If you have any question later on, I think we we we check a few things before the before the testimonial. But if you have any question, you have my WhatsApp, so feel free to to text me and I'll be happy to jump.
Super. Thank you very much. Have a good day.
Have a wonder. Definitely. Thank you.
Byebye. Bye. Bye.
